This guide lists the recommended tightening torque for the fasteners on your Ariel Rider Grizzly 72V. Use it whenever you install, adjust, or re-torque components during assembly or routine maintenance.
Before you start
- Use a calibrated torque wrench. Torque values are given in newton meters (Nm). Tightening by feel often leads to over-tightening, which can strip threads or crack components.
- Start at the lower end of each range and only go higher if the component still moves or slips.
- Never exceed the listed maximum. Over-torquing is the most common cause of damaged fasteners and cracked clamps, and this damage is not covered under warranty.
- Check fasteners periodically. Vibration can loosen hardware over time, especially after your first rides and after riding on rough terrain.
- If a fastener on your bike is not listed here, or you are unsure which spec applies, stop and contact our support team before tightening.

The display clamp screws are very small. Tighten them gently, just enough to keep the display from rotating.

The rear axle nuts carry the hub motor. Torque them accurately and confirm the torque arm is seated correctly before riding.

Reminder: the left pedal has a left-hand (reverse) thread. It tightens counterclockwise and loosens clockwise.
