How to Install the Seat Riser on Your GrizzlyUpdated 3 months ago

Installing a seat riser on your Grizzly  is straightforward. Follow these steps to ensure a secure and efficient setup:



Tools Needed:

  • Allen wrench set (size provided in the video)
  • Adjustable wrench or pliers

Step 1: Prepare Your Bike

  1. Place your Grizzly bike on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Use a bike stand if available to keep it upright and secure.

Step 2: Remove the Existing Seat

  1. Locate the seat post clamp beneath your current seat.
  2. Use the correct Allen wrench to loosen the clamp.
  3. Gently slide the seat post out of the frame.

Step 3: Attach the Seat Riser

  1. Align the seat riser with the frame's seat post opening.
  2. Insert the riser into the frame, ensuring it fits snugly.
  3. Use the provided bolts and tighten them with the Allen wrench to secure the riser.

Step 4: Reinstall the Seat

  1. Insert your seat post into the newly installed seat riser.
  2. Adjust the seat to your desired height for optimal comfort.
  3. Tighten the seat post clamp securely using the Allen wrench.

Step 5: Final Check

  1. Ensure all bolts and clamps are tight and secure.
  2. Sit on the bike to test the seat’s height and stability.
  3. Make any necessary adjustments to achieve your preferred riding position.
