Installing the hitch for your new trailer can be a simple and straightforward process, follow the below instructions to get your rear trailer on the road with you. 

1. Remove the rear axle nut on the same side of the bike as the brakes
   
   
   
2. Remove the torque arm bolt and the torque arm then replace it with the trailer hitch use the provided m5 bolt to secure the hitch
   
   
   

3. Replace the axle nut and torque it to 40 nm
   
   
   
4. Couple the trailer hitch arm and hitch together with the black plastic insert in place.
   
   
   
5. Line the holes up to push the cotter pin through all the parts
    
   
   
   
6. Snap the retainer clip over to hold the cotter pin in place.
   
   
7. take the leash and thread it through the shock stanchion
    
   
   
8. clip the leash back over itself before embarking with the trailer
