Installing the hitch for your new trailer can be a simple and straightforward process, follow the below instructions to get your rear trailer on the road with you. 

1. Remove the rear axle nut on the same side of the bike as the brakes
   
   
2. Put the hitch directly on the axle and replace the axle nut
   
   
   

3. Torque it to 50 nm
   
   
   
4. Couple the trailer hitch arm and hitch together with the black plastic insert in place.
   
   
5. Line the holes up to push the cotter pin through all the parts
   
   
   
   
6. Snap the retainer clip over to hold the cotter pin in place.
   
   
7. Take the leash and thread it through the chain stay.

3. Clip the leash back over itself before embarking with the trailer
