Extension Saddle Installation Guide

Follow the steps below to install your extension saddle on your Ariel Rider X-Class e-bike.

*Note: This guide applies to X-Class models produced prior to 2025.

Required Tools

• 10mm box-end wrench or 10mm socket wrench
• Torque wrench (capable of 6 Nm)

Step-by-Step Installation Instructions

1. Align the saddle: Position the extension saddle on top of the rear frame rail, aligning its four threaded mounting posts with the corresponding holes on the underside of the frame.
2. Install the hardware: On each exposed threaded post underneath the frame, place a flat washer and thread an M6 nut on by hand to hold the saddle in place.
3. Torque to specification: Using a 10mm wrench or socket, tighten all four M6 nuts in a cross-pattern to 6 Nm to ensure the saddle is firmly secured.
