All of our bikes are water resistant and rated IP65.

"IP" stands for Ingress Protection. The numbers indicate how well protected from liquids and solids a product is.

The first digit in the number represents how protected the product is from particles. like dust. There are 6 levels of rating for dust protection, having a rating of six means that the product is completely dust-tight.

The second digit in the number represents how protected the product is from liquids, like water. There are 9 levels of rating for liquid protection, a rating of 5 means that they are resistant to low pressure water jets from any direction, like light rain.

In short, your Ariel Rider’s electronics are fully protected from dust and safe to ride in light rain or wet conditions.
