The error code 68H refers to a hall sensor communication error. This can be caused by a loose cable connection, cable damage, or something inside the motor. These steps will help us rule out a loose connection and determine the cause of the 68H error code. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]

1. Disconnect and Inspect the Cable

  1. Turn off the bike’s power.
  2. Power-cycle the bike by turning it off and back on.
  3. Disconnect the front motor cable at the connection point near the front wheel.
Please note: For the newest version of the Grizzly, this connection can be found just inside the top tube, you will need to carefully cut the securing zip-tie to gain access.  Also there is a second motor connection under your saddle just outside of the cable box, the front motor will be connected to the controller marked with an F.
  4. Take clear, close-up photos of both cable ends and send them to our customer support team at [email protected].
    • Use a flash or direct light to ensure the pin sleeves and pins are clearly visible.

2. Reconnect the Cable Securely

  • When reconnecting the cable, make sure it is fully seated and tight to prevent connection issues.

3. Check for Cable Damage

  • Inspect the entire visible length of the front motor cable for any signs of damage.
  • Pay special attention to the area where the cable enters the front motor.
    • This section is covered by a spring that must be pulled back for a full inspection.
    • Removing the front wheel may make this process easier.
  • If you find any signs of damage, take a photo and send it to [email protected] for further assistance.
