Beneath the downtube battery, you'll find your e-bike's tracker, which is compatible exclusively with the Apple Find My app. Simply press the button once to activate the device; it will beep once and power on.
Connecting to the App
- Open the Find My app on your Apple device.
- Bring your iPhone close to the bike's tracker.
- Tap the Items tab, tap the "+" icon, and select "Add Other Item."
- Locate "OPD03" in the list and tap "Connect."
- Enter a name for your bike/tracker and choose an emoji.
- Tap "Agree" to confirm that this item will be linked to your Apple ID.
- Tap "Finish." Your tracker will beep to indicate a successful connection.
Activating Lost Mode
- Open the Find My app, select the Items tab, and tap your tracker.
- Under Lost Mode, tap Enable.
- Read the instructions, tap Continue, and enter a phone number or email address.
- Confirm your contact information, customize the lost message, and tap Activate to complete the setup.
Button Functionalities
- Power On: Press the button once. The device will beep to indicate activation.
- Power Off: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, then release after hearing the confirmation tone.
- Factory Reset: Press the button 5 times in quick succession (within 5 seconds), holding the fifth press for 3 seconds. Release the button after you hear the bell.
Main Functions
- Play Sound: Tap "Play Sound" in the Find My app and your device will ring, making it easy to locate your bike when nearby.
- Locate Your Bike: If your bike isn't close by, the Find My network leverages hundreds of millions of Apple devices worldwide to securely transmit its location to iCloud so you can track it on the map. This process is fully encrypted and anonymous.
Removing & Re-Pairing the Device
- Open the Find My app and select the Items tab.
- Choose your tracker, tap "Remove Item," and confirm by tapping "Remove." The device will beep upon removal.
- After removal, the tracker remains in pairing mode for 10 minutes.
- To Re-Pair: If you do not re-pair within 10 minutes, press the device button twice. The device will beep, re-entering pairing mode so you can connect it again.
Replacing the Battery
Carefully open the battery cover located on the tracker casing, remove the depleted CR2032 coin battery, and insert a new one with the positive (+) side facing up before snapping the cover securely back in place.
Note: Replacing the tracker battery does not delete your Find My pairings or require a factory reset.
