This error code indicates a motor phase error. Follow these troubleshooting steps to discharge residual power and inspect your electrical connections.
Step 1: Power Cycle the E-Bike
Power cycling clears residual current from the system to prevent electrical shorting during inspection.
- Turn off the bike and remove the main battery.
- With the battery removed, press and hold the power button on the display until the screen flashes and turns off completely.
Step 2: Inspect Hardware & Connections
After power cycling, perform the following physical inspections:
- Inspect Connector Pins: Unplug the main motor quick-disconnect connector. Take clear, well-lit photos of the connector pins on both the male and female sides (use flash or a flashlight) to check for bent, recessed, or burned pins.
- Inspect Main Cable Harness: Trace the cable from the motor all the way to the controller housing, checking thoroughly for cuts, nicks, or pinched wires.
- Inspect Hub Axle Cable Exit: Pull back the protective spring wrap where the cable exits the motor hub to check for wire shearing or rubbing.
