To ensure the safety and longevity of your Kepler 52V, it is critical that all hardware is tightened to the specific torque values recommended by the manufacturer. Using a torque wrench helps prevent component failure, which could result in serious injury or death.

Handlebar and Stem Area

Properly securing the steering assembly is vital for maintaining control of your ebike.

  • Stem Faceplate Bolts: 8Nm.

  • Stem Light Holder Screw (if equipped): 5Nm.

  • Stem Clamp Bolt 1 (Angle Adjustment): 25Nm.

  • Stem Clamp Bolt 2 (Side of Stem): 20Nm.

  • Stem Clamp Bolt 3 (Hanging Screw): 8Nm.

  • Brake Lever Clamp Bolt: 8Nm.

  • Throttle Bolt: 2.5Nm.

Wheels and Brakes

Securely fastened wheels and precisely torqued brake components are your primary safety features.

  • Front Wheel Axle Nuts: 30Nm (using a 15mm wrench).

  • Rear Axle Nuts: 50Nm.

  • Brake Caliper to Adapter/Frame: 9Nm.

  • Brake Rotor to Hub: 4Nm.

  • Brake Pads to Caliper: 4Nm.

Drivetrain and Pedals

These components endure high stress during operation and require high torque values.

  • Pedals into Crank Arm: 40Nm.

  • Crank Arm Bolt into Spindle: 40Nm.

  • Bottom Bracket and Cups: 40Nm.

  • Derailleur Mounting Bolt: 10Nm.

  • Derailleur Cable Clamp Bolt: 6Nm.

Frame and Accessories

  • Seat Adjustment Bolt: 20Nm.

  • Rear Rack Bolts: 8Nm.

  • Kickstand Mounting Bolt: 10Nm.

  • Headlight Angle Adjustment Bolt: 7Nm.

  • Fender Mounting Bolts: 7Nm.
