With another adult, lift the outer box off the pallet while keeping the bike steady on its shipping base. Leave the fork attached to the base until the handlebar is fitted.
Look underneath each zip tie before cutting. Cut one at a time, away from cables, brake hoses, batteries and painted parts. Read every warning label and note as you unpack. Keep the packaging until you have checked all parts.
If the box is smoking, hissing or rapidly heating, do not open it. Move away and call 911 from safety.
