Why Won't My Grizzly Battery Charge?Updated 20 days ago
We understand how frustrating it can be when your battery isn't charging. Below are key troubleshooting steps to help you identify the issue and get your Grizzly battery working again.
1. Check the Charger’s LED Indicator Light
Your charger has an LED light that provides important information about the charging status:
- Solid red light → The battery is charging.
- Solid green light → The battery is fully charged.
- No light at all → There may be an issue with the power source or charger.
- Flashing red or flashing red and green → This may indicate a battery issue. Please contact us for further assistance.
If the LED is not lighting up:
✅ Check the outlet – Try plugging the charger into a different outlet to rule out a power issue.
✅ If the LED still does not turn on, contact us for assistance.
2. Check the Battery’s Charge Level
If the charger’s LED is solid green when plugged into the battery:
- Disconnect the battery from the charger.
- Press the "Charge Indicator" button on the battery.
- Check how many LED lights appear on the battery:
- 3 green LEDs + 1 red LED → The battery is fully charged, and the charger is working correctly.
- Fewer LEDs or no LEDs lit up → The battery may not be charging properly. Contact us for support.
3. Inspect for Damage
⚠️ If you notice any of the following, stop using the charger immediately and contact us:
- Damage to the battery’s charge port
- Damage to the charger (cracks, frayed wires, etc.)
- Unusual sounds or smells coming from the charger
