Yes, there's a lock on the battery on D-Class. However, if the bike is parked in a high risk area for theft, we do recommend you to take the battery with you.

The simple answer is yes and no. It's highly water-resistant, as long as you don't submerge the bike in water, you're safe. Essentially we're in Seattle, we wouldn't design anything that isn't water-resistant :).
Can I get the 21Ah battery instead of 18Ah battery and pay the difference?
The 21Ah battery is only offered as an additional accessory for the time being.
Does the brakes have motor inhibitors on the D-class?
Yes, the D-class ebike brakes have motor inhibitors. When you're applying the brakes, you'll see a red exclamation mark on the screen as below, which indicates the motor cut-off function is activated:.
