My battery isn’t charging. — X‑Class 60VUpdated 4 hours ago

Before you start

  • Tools: Voltmeter, charger, clean cloth
  • Safety: Power off the bike and remove the battery from the frame.

Steps

  1. Check the charge indicator lights on your battery, to ensure that the battery is not fully charged
  2. Plug the charger into the wall first to check that the charger is working, solid green light is normal when not connected to a battery.
  3. Unplug the charger from the wall and connect the charger to the battery, then plug the charger into the outlet. The LED should turn red while charging.
  4. If it stays green, leave it connected for 10 minutes to wake the BMS, then press the battery’s power button once.
  5. Still green? Use a voltmeter to test charger output at the plug — you should see ~67 V DC.
  6. No voltage or unstable reading → replace the charger. Proper voltage but no charge → possible BMS issue, please let us know immediately through our contact form.

After the fix

Charge until the LED turns green, then let the battery rest 30 minutes before riding.
