Battery Return Instructions for Ariel Rider

Step 1: Unbox the Package

- Carefully open the box you received from Ariel Rider.

- Locate and remove the battery packaging box from the larger shipping package.

Step 2: Prepare the Battery

- Take out the instructions and any packing materials provided.

- Turn off your battery before packing it. 

- Double-check that the battery is off by pressing the voltage indicator.

Step 3: Wrap the Battery

- Use bubble wrap to securely wrap the battery.

- Ensure equal coverage on both ends of the battery for balanced protection.

Step 4: Pack the Battery

- Place the wrapped battery into the box.

- Distribute bubble wrap evenly at both ends of the battery within the box for secure transport.

Step 5: Seal the Box

- Dampen the paper tape (provided) with a sponge or dish towel to activate the 

Adhesive.

- Close the box and tape it shut, ensuring the tape is applied evenly at both ends.

Step 6: Secure the Ends

- Use the two smallest tape pieces to reinforce each end of the box, ensuring a tight seal.

Step 7: Check Labels and Stickers

- Confirm that all labels and stickers are securely attached and fully visible on the box.

Step 8: Schedule a Pickup

- When the package is ready, contact FedEx at 1-800-463-3339.

- Use option 81# (pound) to arrange a Hazmat pickup for safe battery transport back to Ariel Rider.
