Error code E14 indicates an over-voltage condition detected in the down tube battery pack, meaning its voltage level has exceeded safe operating limits.
DANGER / IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED: If you see Error E14, stop charging the battery immediately and unplug the charger from the wall. Do not attempt to charge, ride, or drain this battery pack.
CRITICAL WARNING: Always power cycle—Dissipate Controller Energy (DCE)—your motorized bike before disconnecting or reconnecting any electrical components. Required Safety Protocol for Error E14
- Disconnect Charger Immediately: Unplug the charger from the wall outlet and disconnect it from the down tube battery charge port right away.
- Power Cycle (DCE - Both Batteries): Turn off the display, safely remove both batteries from the frame, and perform a full DCE power cycle to clear residual controller energy.
- Isolate the Battery Pack: Place the down tube battery in a safe, dry, non-flammable location away from heat sources and combustible materials. Do not attempt to reinstall, charge, or operate the bike with this battery pack.
