Grizzly 72v PPB - Error Code E32Updated 6 days ago
Error code E32 indicates a missing or disconnected battery fault, meaning the controller detects that one of the battery packs is turned off, disconnected, or not properly installed on the bike.
CRITICAL WARNING: Always power cycle—Dissipate Controller Energy (DCE)—your motorized bike before disconnecting or reconnecting any electrical components. On dual-battery models, both batteries must be removed to perform a proper DCE. Step-by-step guidance is available in our Power Cycle (DCE) Guide.
Troubleshooting Steps for Error E32
- Check Battery Power Switches & Key Locks: Ensure both batteries are unlocked, firmly seated in their frame mounts, and their individual power switches are powered ON. Note: The bike will remain limited to reduced power ("training mode") until dual-battery connection is restored.
- Power Cycle (DCE - Both Batteries): Turn off the bike, remove both batteries from the frame, and perform a full DCE power cycle to dissipate residual controller power and reset battery detection memory. Leave both batteries off for step 3.
- Inspect Battery Terminals & Discharge Ports: Inspect the metal blade contacts and discharge ports on both batteries and frame mounts for dirt, bent pins, debris, or signs of wear. Clean gently with a dry microfiber cloth if necessary.
- Reinstall & Power On: Reinstall both batteries securely into their cradles until they lock into place, switch both battery power buttons ON, turn on the display, and check if Error E32 clears and full power is restored.
