Grizzly 72v PPB - Error Code E35Updated 2 days ago
Error code E35 indicates a startup configuration fault, meaning the controller or display failed to load its initial system settings or parameter file correctly upon boot-up.
CRITICAL WARNING: Always power cycle—Dissipate Controller Energy (DCE)—your motorized bike before disconnecting or reconnecting any electrical components. On dual-battery models, both batteries must be removed to perform a proper DCE. Step-by-step guidance is available in our Power Cycle (DCE) Guide.
Troubleshooting Steps for Error E35
- Power Cycle (DCE - Both Batteries): Turn off the display, remove both batteries from the frame, and perform a full DCE power cycle to dissipate residual controller power and clear boot memory. Reinstall both batteries and turn on the display to check if Error E35 clears.
- Perform System Reset in Settings: If the code remains on screen, open the display menu, navigate to Settings, select Service Settings, and tap Reset (Factory Reset).
- Verify & Set Wheel Size: After performing the system reset, return to the display configuration menu and verify that your bike's Wheel Size parameter is set correctly for your specific model before riding.
- Re-test Power On: Turn the display off and back on to confirm that the startup configuration loads cleanly without displaying Error E35.
