How to change X-Class tiresUpdated 7 days ago

Changing your tire is a necessary skill for any one who rides bicycles, and these instructions will ensure that you are ready to change your tires!

The first step for all maintenance and repair on your Ariel Rider bike is going to be to power cycle your bike, you can review this article to learn how.

Before you can start replacing the tire, the inner tube needs to be entirely deflated. You can press on the Schrader valve to release the air from the tube. This may be easier to do while the wheel is still on the bike.

Remove the wheel from the bike.

Use a tire lever to lift the tire bead over the rim, then work your way around the entire edge of the wheel until the tires is completely loose

Once the bead is off of the rim, you can pull the tire off of the wheel.

With the old tire removed from the wheel align the new tire on the wheel, following any directional markers that are on the tire.

Place the inner tube inside the new tire, making sure it sits evenly all the way around the tube.

Finally, work the tire bead back on the rim until it is fully seated. This typically does not require a tool, but you may find that a tire lever makes the job a bit easier.
