Motor Core Return Instructions for Ariel Rider

Before proceeding to the steps below, power the bike off, remove the battery, and power cycle the bike. 

Step 1: Remove the brake rotor

Step 2: Remove all six bolts from the motor shell cover plate

Step 3: Remove the axle nuts and then remove the core from the wheel

Step 4: Keep all parts together 

Step 5: Wrap the core securely with brown paper and tape

• Alternative: Use plastic wrap from the kitchen

Step 6: Add additional layers of bubble wrap around the wrapped core

Step 7: Get a 10x10x10 shipping box

Step 8: Reinforce box corners with extra cardboard sheets

Step 9: Place the wrapped core in the box and fill any remaining space with bubble wrap

Step 10: Close the box and tape all corners and edges securely

Step 11: SEND IT!!!
