What should I do if the forks on my bike are sticking?Updated 7 days ago
If your front suspension fork is stuck and not compressing, follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Check the lockout dial: Ensure the suspension lockout mechanism on the fork crown is completely disengaged (unlocked).
- Dislodge stuck stanchions: If the lockout is disengaged, straddle the bike, lift the front wheel a few inches off the ground, and drop it down with moderate force. In most cases, this will free the stanchions so the fork cycles normally.
