Meaning

Error 30 refers to a communication error that can be caused by any of the bike's electrical components. Follow this step-by-step guide to identify the source of the issue.

Fix

1. Power the bike completely down and remove the batteries.
2. Disconnect all components from the controller exect the battery and the main wire harness.
3. Power the bike back on and check for error 30 or error 08.
4. If error code 08 shows on the display, continue below. If error 30 shows, now or on any subsequent step, on the display contact us through the contact form.
5. Power cycle the bike and connect the motor, this should clear the error 08.
6. Continue power cycling and connecting components one at a time until the error 30 returns.
7. When you connect the part causing the error 30 the error code will reappear on the screen. Once that happens please stop and contact us through our contact form, or your open ticket if you have one, with the details.
