X‑Class 60V: My charger light never turns redUpdated 17 hours ago
What you’re seeing
When your charger's LED stays green instead of turning red, it means the charger isn't detecting the battery or the battery isn't accepting a charge. This can happen for several reasons: the battery may already be fully charged, the Battery Management System (BMS) may be in sleep mode, or the battery could be deeply discharged and needs time to wake up. In rare cases, it could indicate a problem with the charger or battery itself. Follow the steps below to identify and resolve the issue.
Quick checks
- Check the charge indicator lights on your battery, to ensure that the battery is not fully charged
- Verify the outlet is grounded and the charger brick fan/vent is unobstructed.
- Press the battery power button once to wake it.
- If the battery is deeply discharged (< 55 V), leave the charger connected for 30 minutes — this can wake the cells.
If the LED is still green
- Measure charger output (~67 V DC). No output → replace charger.
- Output OK but no charge → Possible battery BMS issue. Stop charging and contact support through our contact form.
