What to expect
Battery life can be a hard thing to estimate as it is very dependent on how the battery is used, stored, and cared for. Because it can be hard to estimate how long a battery will be usable batteries are rated in charge cycles. Our batteries are rated to maintain full, or near full, capacity for 800 to 1000 charge cycles, which for most customers should be around 3 years of normal use.
- ~800–1000 full cycles (~3 years of regular use).
- Range loss of ~20–30 % over time is normal.
When to replace
- If usable range drops > 30 % or the pack won’t balance to full voltage.
