Never bridge battery contacts, jump-start a battery, bypass internal protection circuits, or repeatedly reconnect a charger to force recovery.</blockquote><hr><h2 id="battery-wake-up-procedure">Battery Wake-Up Procedure</h2><ol><li>Remove Both Batteries:Ensure the display is powered off. Remove both batteries from the frame following the standard battery removal procedure.</li><li>Wake the First Battery:On the first battery pack, press and hold the charge-level indicator button for 5 seconds until the LED indicator lights illuminate sequentially from red through the final green light.</li><li>Wake the Second Battery:Repeat the 5-second button press on the second battery pack. (Note: Use this specific wake sequence. Do not substitute another model&apos;s wake timing. Automatic sleep mode occurs after approximately 20 days without use; it does not prevent gradual battery charge loss.)</li><li>Power Off Batteries Before Reinstallation:Press and hold each battery&apos;s charge-level indicator button for 3 seconds until all indicator lights turn completely off. Perform this step for both batteries prior to reinstalling them. Turning off the handlebar display does not switch off individual battery power switches.</li><li>Reinstall &amp; Lock Batteries:Reinstall both powered-off batteries onto the frame. Remove all protective foam, zip ties, and parts boxes.</li><li>Handlebar &amp; Headlight Display Assembly:<ul><li>Remove the display/headlight assembly from its labeled box. Place the headlight display assembly over the stem, then mount the handlebars in position.</li><li>Snug the stem faceplate bolts evenly using a 5 mm hex wrench.</li><li>Torque the faceplate bolts to 6 Nm using an adjustable torque wrench.</li><li>Finish mounting the display assembly using the #2 Phillips screwdriver from your tool set.</li></ul></li><li>Connecting Wires &amp; Cable Management:Connect all wiring harness leads for the display and headlight to their matching color-coded connectors on the main cable assembly (located in front of the head tube below the handlebars).
